Coral's Reef is an underwater-themed, animated series we developed for the Arkansas Department of Health. In this second episode, titled "Nicotine," we are introduced to ELI THE EEL who helps our quirky group of aquarium fish dive deeper into the dangers of vaping.

Arnold's Organic Kids Bread - Commercial Spot

 

2A! animates Mickey and Minnie Mouse for an Arnold's bread ad!

Bimbo Bakeries has teamed up with The Walt Disney Company to launch a new line of premium breads for kids. The bread brands -- Arnold, Brownberry, and Oroweat -- are made with organic whole grains as their first ingredient, and are sustainably baked using renewable wind energy.

2A! was contracted by Bailey Brand, who combined our animation of Mickey and Minnie Mouse with their live-action elements to make this adorable commercial spot!

The spot won two silver Telly Awards and a Graphic Design USA award for 2022.

OreganKnow is an OTC skin healing ointment, which contains a water-soluble Oregano extract that is both an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It’s used in the treatment of scratches, cuts, insect bites, ulcers, cracked skin and surgical wounds.

2A! designed and animated this spot for a transmedia campaign to help introduce the world to OreganKnow.

Lifetime Foundation - Hooray 4 Healthy!

2A! helps develop Hooray 4 Healthy for the Lifetime Foundation!

Hooray 4 Healthy is a nutrition curriculum for 1st – 4th grade students. It consists of four four-minute nutrition videos and one two-minute physical activity video. The nutrition videos teach children where food comes from, the benefits of each food group, and healthy choices they can make in each food group. The physical activity video gets them up from their seats to do some fun exercises with the characters! 

The videos were created for use by teachers, who can sign up to access them for free at hooray4healthy.org.

Banyan Tales: Mobile App Series

2A! joins some cartoon friends under the Banyan Tree!

Banyan Tales is an “in-app” series for children which you can download and watch on your iPad or other mobile device. 

In episode one, Mooshi the Mouse must keep his promise and risk his life to free Singa the Lion from the hunter’s trap. In episode two, Poppat the Parrot must learn how to be a true leader by saving her friends from the jaws of Dubuk the Hyena.

2A! designed this IP and all the front-end visuals for the app! The app includes 2 animated episodes, as well as character introductions, question and answer segments, puzzles, matching games and more.

Flu Season!

Yep, it's that time of year again... flu season. =(

Just thought I'd share some fun character sketches we recently did. They're for an educational animation we're working on about how the flu spreads.

Remember to cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough, and most importantly, keep your hands clean by washing them often.

"Let Me Be Your Camera" - Understanding AD/HD

2A! helps raise awareness about AD/HD with a new video titled, "Let Me Be Your Camera." 

AD/HD, or Attention – Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, is a serious condition that affects millions of children and adults all over the world.  Mike and Lori Perkins are the parents of one such child and, both being educators, decided to help by co-authoring a book on the subject.  They then asked us to help promote the book with a fun, educational animation. The goal is to help create a better understanding of AD/HD so those dealing with it can become more successful at home, at school, and at work.

2A! designed and animated the short in Flash.  It was written by Mike and Lori Perkins and is based on lessons found in their book, "Empowering Teens & Pre-teens with AD/HD to Succeed Not Just Survive."

Art All Night Film Festival

2A! is proud to announce that our Wonkidos short, “Getting Dressed,” has been accepted into the first annual Art All Night Film Festival!

Art All Night is a 24-hour art and entertainment event held in Trenton, NJ, at the historic Roebling Wire Works. It’s a great opportunity for local artists to display one piece of art for the public to view in a gallery setting. This year’s festival starts on Saturday June 16th at 3pm and ends the next day, Sunday June 17th at 3pm (yep, it’s literally “all night”).

Our Wonkidos short is scheduled to play on Saturday at 3:15pm!

The Wonkidos: Mom's Best Award Winner!

The Wonkidos is now a Mom’s Best Award winner!

Mom’s Best Award (MBA) provides moms with an objective way of determining the “best” products available on the market for their children. Products meeting a certain criteria established by MBA are evaluated by real moms and childcare experts, and can go on to earn the "Mom's Best Award."

Wonkidos: Animated Social Skills for Kids

2A! is proud to invite you into the wondrous world of the Wonkidos!

Evan is a young boy who loves playing with his favorite toys, the Wonkidos! Wobbles, Stacks, Apps and Sparkles spring to life in Evan’s imagination, and together with Mr. Know-It-All App, help Evan learn valuable social skills in a fun and entertaining way!

Tricia Estrada, founder and president of Brighter Futures for Beautiful Minds (BFBM), thought up the idea of an animated series that would help her son, who was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, learn the social and life skills he would need to succeed. She realized the importance of using visual tools like illustrated stories and organizers to help children understand different concepts and motivate their behavior. She also realized that through the use of mobile technology, she could allow anyone to access these tools at anytime, anywhere. Where parents might have difficulty getting through to their children, the animated characters could easily grab their attention and help turn an otherwise frustrating moment into a teachable one.

Nature Walk - Understanding the Life Cycle of the EAB is an educational video for the Stop the Beetle website and will be used to teach people about the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle, which is an invasive insect that is killing Ash trees by the millions.

2A! teamed up with our friends at JMH Education to write and direct this 4-minute Flash animation.

The Skinny On Nuts Website

2A! gets healthy by adding The Skinny on Nuts Website to our diet!

Did you know that peanuts are not only good for your heart, but also good for your exercise routine? That's because eating peanuts, along with other nuts, provides the body with many of the necessary nutrients that help you get moving. This fun, educational site was commissioned by The National Peanut Board and is chock-full of important nutritional information about your favorite nuts. Get the "skinny on nuts" at www.skinnyonnuts.com and find out how eating nuts can be part of a healthy diet.

2A! helped design the Website and characters, and provided music and animation. We had a great time teaming up with LBVD to work on this project!

Beetle Busters: Freeze & Collect Game!

2A! catches beetle mania with the Beetle Busters: Freeze & Collect Flash game!

We worked with our friends at JMH Education to create this online game which helps spread awareness about the Asian Long Horned Beetle, or ALB for short. The ALB is an invasive pest that destroys trees and threatens our industries and wildlife habitats.

In the game, players use their magnifying glass to identify the ALBs and then freeze and collect them. See how many points you can earn by collecting as many ALBs as you can spot, and help stop them from spreading. Don’t forget to answer the bonus questions between levels to earn extra points!

E-Learning Activity: Madison's Notes!

2A! travels back in time to attend the Constitutional Convention!

Here’s a look at a fun, interactive activity we worked on called Madison’s Notes. Our good friend and colleague Chris Kaplan was developing the project for The Bill of Rights Institute and asked if we’d like to help out. In the activity, users go back in time to 1787 and learn where each delegate stood on the important issues, ranging from how members of Congress should be elected to what to do about slavery.

2A! designed and animated the Founding Fathers. Learn more about America’s past by playing the activity here!

Cyber Security E-Learning Animations!

2A! helps put a stop to Harry the Hacker’s evil ways!

We’ve done a good amount of e-learning tutorials over the years, one of which was a fun series of shorts focused on cyber security. The series was based around a character named "Harry the Hacker," who employed various techniques like Phishing, using Worms and Probes, Wireless Hacking, and more, to steal important information off of your computer. The interactive animations were used to teach people how to keep personal information private and safe from hackers like Harry.

2A! designed and animated the series, including the characters, backgrounds, music and sound effects, as well as programming all the interactivity.

Pokémon Learning League Flash Library!

2A! goes Anime with the Pokémon Learning League.

The Pokémon Learning League is an educational website featuring the popular television show characters interacting with users to help teach them lessons in math, science, and language studies.

2A! worked closely with Pokémon USA to develop the vector art library, which includes such iconic characters as Ash and Picachu, and was used to animate the interactive Flash tutorials. Above is a screen shot from the intro animation we created, as well as some cool artwork of Ash below. Enjoy!
