Following up on our last two posts, here are the character designs we created for College Humor’s IRL Files.
I had a blast designing this group of characters… I really just let loose and drew whatever came into my head, as opposed to doing multiple rounds of design. It’s definitely fun to just go with the flow as opposed to working a design over and over to death. The characters were drawn in Flash, but there’s actually not very much reuse here... just some hands and one body type being reused.

Here's the second IRL Files short we animated for College Humor.
We created two videos in this style, where we design and animate a short based on a voiceover track. This short is called, The Road Trip, and is about a road trip that dosen’t go exactly as planned.

Here's the first of two more videos we recently animated for College Humor!
This animation is part of a series CH calls their IRL Files (In Real Life). Basically, we are given the voiceover of a character telling his story, and it’s up to us to design and animate the piece. This first one is called, Parents Just Don't Understand: Dad's New Phone, and is about what happens when a parent gets their hands on a smart phone. I’ll follow up and post the second video next week!
